How to make sure your products are set as Physical Products in your Shopify Store
Learn why it's important to set your products as 'Physical Products'.
It's possible to sell digital products or services on Shopify that don't require shipping, but if you’re using Postcode Shipping in your Shopify store you probably have physical items that do require shipping.
It's important to make sure your physical items are flagged as physical items, in case you use the Postcode Shipping app to set ‘weight-based’ rates & shipping specials.
From your Shopify admin, go to Products .
From the Products page, select a product or create a product.
In the Shipping section of the product page, check This is a physical product.
Click Save .
While making or editing a product, make sure to check the option This is a physical product and assign a weight.
