# Edit a Region

##### Learn how to edit an existing Region to update its basic properties and its match or exclusion rules.

* To edit a Region simply select the Region you wish to edit from the list of Regions within a Shipping Zone.
 
* Then make any changes that you require within the ‘Region Details’ or ‘Rules’ panels.

* Click **Save Region** at the top right of the screen.

You are free to edit the Region title - it will not affect the Rates that are part of the Region.

When editing a Region you will see a third panel called ‘Rates’. This panel will list any Rates that have been created for this Region (see [ ** Create a new Rate**](https://postcode.crisp.help/en/article/create-a-new-rate-cxdhr2/)).
